As a new small business, we want to get a proper but very simple CRM system in place. What off the shelf solutions have people come across?
Really, at this stage, we just need: Dashboard>Customer Details>Customer’s Enquiry/Sale(s)>Customer contacts associated with Enquiry/Sales
Action tracking would be useful and it has to be usable on web (not necessarily web based though).
Reporting function has to be simple and adaptable.
For 1-10 users.
I’ve looked at Sugar CRM, anyone had any experience of this?
Any input would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.

We've started with vtiger as open source - and have found that the web based solution is just too slow to refresh in other countries to the one that it is hosted in.
We're going to look at M$ CRM next as this may have a cost but you can have a local version with background synchronisation of the datebase.
I am completely biased here, so apologies, but our company Software Add-ons is the Home of OpenCRM, as hosted CRM solution, based in the UK and a developer with the solution, perhaps worth giving us a call.
